こんにちは! Konnichiwa!

My name is Nadja and I have been living in Düsseldorf since 2016 – practically right outside the gates of Little Tokyo.
What started as simple curiosity quickly developed into a real passion: for Japanese culture, the special shops – and above all for the fantastic food 🍜.
Over the years, I've tried countless ramen, discovered new favorite places, and answered many questions from friends and family who wanted tips for their visit to Little Tokyo.
That's why I created this guide: compact, lovingly designed, and packed with my personal recommendations – so you can get the most out of your visit.
I hope you enjoy discovering and enjoying it! 🎌
My personal favorites in Little Tokyo
-
Naniwa Noodles & Soups 🍜
In Little Tokyo, I'm a regular at Naniwa (because good ramen is a life choice). My favorite order is the Stamina or Tantan Ramen, with an ice-cold yuzuka lemonade. For me, it's simply perfect!
-
Hanaro Market 🛒
My favorite Asian supermarket! Here I find everything I need to cook authentic Asian dishes at home – from fresh vegetables to special spices and sauces.
-
Shrimp Mayo Onigiri 🍙
My favorite snack: Onigiri with shrimp mayo! Unassuming on the outside, pure flavor explosion on the inside – trust me, you'll love it.
